The Finnish Business School Graduates is an active player in society
We actively promote our members’ interests in working life, society and education.
We have an influence in working life and in education policy
The Finnish Business School Graduates agrees on key working conditions by collective agreements, ensures the proper salary development of business school graduates and their well-being at work, promotes equal opportunities in working life and increases its members’ knowledge on labour market issues by, for example, providing relevant training. In socio-economic questions, The Finnish Business School Graduates cooperates with Akava. Our labour market cooperation partners are Akava’s negotiating bodies Federation of Professional and Managerial Staff YTN and Federation of Professional and Managerial Staff in the Public Sector JUKO.
In the field of education policy The Finnish Business School Graduates particularly focuses on the quality of business education and research, skills promotion of business school graduates and on creating opportunities for competence development. Education policy is shaped in cooperation with universities and also student associations, other labour market organisations, ministries and political parties.
A team of labour market, education policy and socio-economic questions experts is responsible for the lobbying work of The Finnish Business School Graduates. This work is strongly supported by the union’s Working Life Committee, Education Policy Committee and Entrepreneur Working Group.
