The &#8220;<strong>Muutost\u00f6iss\u00e4<\/strong>&#8221; campaign, starting on the 5th of September, will bring attention to the barriers that hinder a culturally diverse working life: ignorance, biases, and beliefs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the &#8220;<strong>Muutost\u00f6iss\u00e4<\/strong>&#8221; social impact campaign, the initiators of the discussion are 20 social media influencers from various cultural backgrounds living in Finland. The campaign&#8217;s financing is provided and supported in communication by over 20 organizations, including cities, educational institutions, NGOs, and significant players in the labor and business sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-style-default\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-style-background-gray-medium has-padding-medium\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong>Why is Suomen Ekonomit involved in the campaign?<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We are working to promote sustainable working life and economic growth. These are important for both individuals and for the well-being of Finland&#8217;s economy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The number of working-age Finns is decreasing. We need labor-related immigration to ensure tax revenue and prevent the decline of the public sector.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong>How does cultural diversity appear in the daily life of <\/strong><\/strong>Suomen Ekonomit<strong><strong>?<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Our community of 60,000 business school students and graduates is culturally diverse. Our services are also available in English.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We educate our staff and representatives on inclusivity matters.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We collaborate with IWWOF and Inklusiiv.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong>What concrete actions do we take to support a culturally diverse working life?<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We produce research data and communication on these topics.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We gave a voice to fourteen immigrants working in Finland.
