The awards are intended to highlight the value of a master\u2019s thesis as part of business education and the diverse ways of carrying out a thesis. The prize money of EUR 10,000 will be distributed among the winners of the competition at the 90th anniversary gala of Suomen Ekonomit in March 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What kind of thesis can be submitted to the competition?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The submitted thesis must be a thesis in a main subject of economic sciences. The prerequisite for participation is that the thesis has been completed and it has been evaluated in 2024. The participant must be a member of Suomen Ekonomit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Below are three categories that you must choose from when submitting your thesis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Commissioned thesis<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Non-commissioned thesis<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. \u201cFrom hardship to victory \u2013 tips for success\u201d thesis<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    The application period starts on 25 November 2024 and ends on 31 December 2024. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    After the application period, the thesis competition panel will review the entries submitted for the competition and select the entries to be awarded in each category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Master’s thesis authors can submit their own work to the competition. More detailed instructions for participation, category definitions and the competition registration form can be found in the eLounge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
