Delgoulet’s role is to support the advocacy work of Suomen Ekonomit in terms of DEI, especially for non-Finnish-speaking and foreign-born students and talents.

TEK and Ekonomit propose a new migration pathway to Finland to attract talent. Like in Canada, it would offer immigrants the opportunity to obtain an immediate permanent residence permit, with selections for this proposed pathway made on a points basis. Points could be awarded for having expertise in areas suffering labour shortages or based on education and language skills.

According to a recent salary survey, the median salary of business school graduates in 2023 was EUR 5,603 per month. Salary was increased for 78% of respondents.

We asked our members for their views on participating in political demonstrations. Opinions were divided, but the result was clear: a clear majority of respondents did not support participation. On this basis, the Board of Suomen Ekonomit decided that Suomen Ekonomit will not participate in political demonstrations.
