We are living in a crisis. Today’s young people are thriving less, while at the same time we speak more about mental health. The theme is very topical, but still we miss the honest accounts from those who fight in the discussions about mental illness. I am one of those who fight.
One of the keys to a well-balanced and enjoyable student life is student events. Events such as Sits, Annual Balls and Pub Crawls (Approt) bring us all together and thus make us feel more connected to one another. Furthermore, as these events lighten our mood, they increase mental well-being, arguably eventually contributing to better success academically.
People that have been in working already for a couple of year often return to school to lecture or tell us as student about their career path and how they have ended up where they are today.
